Infected with DNS Changer?

How can you detect if your computer has been violated and infected with DNS Changer?

An industry wide team has developed easy “are you infected” web sites.  They are a quick way to determine if you are infected with DNS Changer. Each site is designed for any normal computer user to browse to a link, follow the instructions, and see if they might be infected. Each site has instructions in their local languages on the next steps to clean up possible infections.

The http://www.dns-ok.us/ will state if you are or are not infected.

    This is very good to know. My business partner had an infection due to a DNS Changer. Not a fun situation.

    Yes, one of my supplier’s website had the exact same issue. This is happening more and more and creating more problems.

    This issue is happening more and more, and as time and technology evolves so will these issues. Thanks for the info as suspected infected sites can be easily checked this way.

    My brother had the same thing happen to his business website. Not a pretty situation.

    In the last month I have heard of 3 different cases of this kind of thing happening. That is truly awful.
